Q: Is immediate cover available?
A: Yes. Follow the straightforward instructions as shown on our ‘Request a Quote’ page to obtain a quotation. We can email across policy documents within minutes of cover being incepted, at no extra cost to you.

Q: How much will it cost?
A: To obtain an instant quotation, please contact our office on 0845 226 8559 (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm). Each quotation is assessed on the individual details disclosed to us and subsequent insurers and will therefore have a bearing on the insurance premium quoted.

Q: How can I pay for my policy?
A:We offer our customers a choice of easy payment methods. You can choose to pay for your insurance in a one-off amount by debit card or credit card. Or, if you would prefer to spread the cost of your insurance then you can choose our monthly direct debit plan where the cost can be spread over eight monthly instalments subject to an 8.5% interest charge.

Q: How do I view the policy wording(s)?

Q: How do I make a claim?

If you need to make a claim simply ring our claims helpline on:

Please ensure all claims or incidents are notified to us as soon as reasonably possible.

Q: How do I change or cancel my policy?

A: If you wish to change or cancel your insurance policy with Retailprotector you will need to put your request in writing and send it to:

Q: What can I do if I’m not satisfied with Retailprotector?

A: If you are not satisfied with the level of cover provided by your policy or the service provided by Retailprotector you have the right to cancel your policy. Please refer to your policy wording for details of what to do in the event you are not satisfied by any aspect of the service provided by Retailprotector.
If you choose to cancel the policy within 14 days of receiving your hard copy of policy documents, providing the policy is still claim free, you will be entitled to a full refund on the premium you have paid. Anything which remains outside of the 14 day cooling off period will result in a pro-rata return premium, less the administration fee to take into account our costs in providing the policy.

You are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS at http://www.fscs.org.uk
